Mind and Matter - The Brain-Body Connection

Rosie Pasqualini | November 30, 2023

Please join us Thursday at 2:00 pm CST for this week's weekly webinar featuring Rosie Pasqualini.

Rosie Pasqualini, a program assistant at LEAP!, helps to facilitate and improve the ADRC's healthy lifestyle courses. She is passionate about leveraging technology and research together to improve health outcomes. She has a BA in Cognitive Science and Philosophy from Beloit College.

More about this week's webinar, we often think of the mind and the body as being distinct from one another. Yet we also know that our mental health and physical health are closely linked. In this week's webinar, LEAP! program assistant Rosie Pasqualini will explore key ways in which the well-being of our brains and our bodies are intertwined. We'll discuss the gut-brain axis, the mental and physical components of a stress response and more! We hope you'll join us.
