Whitney assists with evaluation and research efforts for KUCTT.  She has a background in program development, implementation, and multi-method approaches in qualitative research, having received her MPH with concentrations in Epidemiology and Behavioral Science from Saint Louis University.


Dedrick Hooper
Systems Coordinator

Dedrick is the Technical Coordinator for the Center.  He ensures successful operation of Telemedicine software and hardware, including videoconferencing and peripheral equipment.  He collaborates with multiple departments and providers on grant projects for improving patient health outcomes throughout the country.

Jeremy is the informatics and technical specialist for KUCTT.  He provides database and data management, and technical assistance for research projects of KUCTT including KUMC Project ECHO.


Ryan Spaulding portrait
Researcher

Dr. Spaulding was the Director of KUCTT for many years and has been active in telehealth for over two decades.  He now focuses on telehealth, ECHO and outreach grant and research projects for the Center and the state of Kansas, with particular focus on rural communities.  Dr. Spaulding is also a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Data Science


Joy Williams
Senior Telemedicine Coordinator

Joy is the primary contact for KUCTT and coordinates clinical/educational events and patient consultations.  She maintains communication throughout Kansas with sites, providers, support staff, and educational partners.  She also serves as the KUMC Project ECHO case coordinator.


Shawna Wright, Ph.D.
Director KU Center for Telemedicine & Telehealth

Dr. Wright is the Director of the Center and oversees telehealth projects, technical assistance, and Project ECHO initiatives with statewide partners.  She serves as a telehealth consultant on national and state research and service projects as well as a variety of Kansas coalitions and committees to support equitable healthcare delivery. 


Donna Yadrich
Research & Operations Coordinator

Donna brings a continuous quality improvement mindset to the Center’s activities and research operations.  She is recognized for her service to seriously ill children and adults as a clinical researcher, family caregiver and advocate, and serves as a governor appointee to the Kansas Palliative Care & Quality of Life Interdisciplinary Council.
