Equipment Use Competency

MET Core management must ensure investigators understand how to utilize properly each piece of equipment they intend to use. Before scheduling to use the equipment, investigators must meet with Colin McCoin or Madi Rickabaugh either to learn how to use the equipment or to demonstrate their competency in using the equipment properly.

The University of Kansas Medical Center utilizes Clustermarket for shared research equipment searching and scheduling. Please create an account on Clustermarket with your KUMC email address to join our organizational group and search for equipment and request reservations.

Have a Clustermarket account, but need to request access to additional resources? The resources on the Clustermarket site are managed by lab administrators who can verify training requirements and authorize access to the shared resources needed for your research. Please contact us to request trainings and booking access to equipment.
