Financial assistance is available for students who qualify. We encourage students to complete the FAFSA in order to be considered for federal aid. To complete the FAFSA, please visit the FAFSA application site and provide the school code for the University of Kansas: 001948.
Federal assistance includes the following:
- Federal Pell Grants.

Some financial aid grants and low-interest loans have limited funding. Don't wait to be accepted into the program before beginning the process to apply for financial aid.
The priority application deadline for federal student financial aid is March 1. After the priority deadline, any remaining financial aid will be awarded as available. The total financial aid award package, including scholarships, loans or need-based aid cannot be finalized until the student's application materials and fee have been received and admission to KU is completed.
